In this world-system, we are programmed to think that life is hard and that money is hard to find, but the Lord wants you to rest.
Instead of fighting the good fight of faith to lay hold of salvation, many people focus on accumulating money which causes them to miss the proper opportunity to give. Christ exchanged riches with us which we receive once we give away our poverty mindset in order to embrace the mutual exchange in Christ which is grace.
We are the new man in Christ so we are to renew our minds about money and how to handle it. Follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love and patience instead of following after money.
