God’s Original Intention for Man

One of the most frequent questions I receive when people have the opportunity to present
their concerns to me is that they want to how to discern the will of God. As sons of God, we all have
the responsibility before the Father to know His will. We are to discern the will of God. But many
people do not know how and it results in confusion.
There are three dimensions of the believer’s relation with the will of God. The first stage is
that they would want to do the will of God. That’s the first stage of maturity. But when you go
beyond that, you will want to know the will of God in such a way that amid any situation or
circumstance, you are able to know what God’s will is. This then leads to the third dimension, where
you become the will of God. This is where the Father wants to bring us. When you become the will
of God, wherever you go, whatever you do, you will manifest the will of God.
Discerning the will of God for your life begins by knowing God’s intention for your life
starts by knowing God’s original intention for man. God has a plan for you. What God has ordained
for your life will not come to pass without your active participation. You are here on earth because
of the purpose and plan that Father God has ordained you for. Unless you understand this, your life
will take a natural course. Before the creation of the universe, before the formation of the world,
God had already taken paths ahead of time that you should walk in them. He has foreordained for
you His prearranged, pre-blessed and pre-financed plan.
During the first 4000 years of human history, there was no dispensation which, through the
dealings of God with man, produced His eternal plan. All the teachings in the Old Testament, from
Genesis to Malachi, did not reveal the eternal plan of God. Even Old Testament personages like
Abraham and Moses did not have a glimpse, neither did they have an idea of what God’s eternal plan
was. They operated under a temporary program which God permitted them to participate in, in
anticipation of His ultimate intention.
What happened to Christ from the cross to the throne is the major event of all time and
eternity. It produced the ultimate intention that the Father had kept secret and hid in His heart since
the eternal ages. The Father’s ultimate intention is something which is of chief importance in this
generation. You may have asked yourself the questions: What is it God has reserved for me? What is
my ministry? What is my calling? God’s ultimate plan is superior to your individual purpose; it is
greater than any other plan, program and previous dispensation of human history.

God’s original intention for man, was to place him in Christ. Christ is everything the Father
wants. Thus, in the fullness of time, Jesus was made of a woman. The logos was made flesh through
His crucifixion, death, burial, quickening, raising and seating. This operation of God brought the new
creation whereby Christ could now indwell and express Himself through man. Being in Christ now
makes man a complete creation with all he has ever desired or needed in life. Man in Christ Jesus is
man as God intended.
